Students can join from high school and write their GED® examinations after the age of 17!
Your only requirement
is to be in possession of a valid South Africa Identity Document or Passport.
This is important as no other proof of ID is acceptable.
You can start studying anytime of the year we have the registration open all year.
There are four subjects to study and to write for final tests:
cannot study for long periods of time in front of a computer or who have limited access to internet.
We include all study material for you on your request when registering!
If you are only going to be working on the online portal, then the Technical requirements are as follows :
Computer or Laptop with Chrome browser and PDF viewer
I pad or TAB with Puffin browser and PDF viewer
All required offline course material is include in your package.
It is required by many service provider’s that a student joins a tutor center, to monitor your work and assist with
problems and also grade your work at a monthly fee, we are your virtual tutor center and you only pay for grading of
activities, tasks and pre-tests. We will send you a progress report every term.
The GED® credential offers you new hope and success to further studies, increase the opportunity in finding
better paying work so that you can live a better life.
Your steps to success starts with you:
1 st step; Register
2nd step; Study
3rd step; Submit all your tasks etc on due dates for grading and marking
4th step; Book for your tests and choose a date ( cost around R1400) per subject and write your tests at an
accredited testing center near you .
5th step; An electronic transcript with your results will be sent to your email. Contact us if you would like
us to assist you with registration at with the University!
We will be there to guide and advise you all the way.
You will need to obtain a score of 145 out of 200 to pass your test!

Ensure proof of payment is attached or if online transfer is made to send an email notification to info@getonlineacademy.co.za
Once confirmation of payment is verified you will receive a link to register with your email details on line and your personal link to your studies will be sent to you. Usually within 24hours!
Your printed books will be couriered to you and a tracking number sent to track your parcel.
